I'm not really sure why, but i didn't find the "fun" in this game, maybe It's just me that lacks an understanding of these kinds of games. One thing that could enhance the feeling in the game is to add some music. Kudos for size of the game and variety of items, good luck in the contest!

A nice array of items! Liked the dark, creepy feel. The torches were pretty cool.

I would love it if you could move smoothly by holding keys, instead of having to tap for each motion. Include a UI so players can see what tool they're using currently? I got a bit confused.

Well done.

Nice challenge, was a bit more fun when I noticed which blocks are the braziers you can light.

I would've liked the controls to be a bit smoother. Overall I like that you feel really small and that there's a big world to discover!

Hi there. Huge amount of level design in there, but I hardly explored any yet, will revisit. Enjoyed the exploring, a visual memory of areas visited would be cool, brain too fogged to remember everything myself. Shame no sound.

Charming little game. Controls were a bit clunky. Did a bit of exploring and then got eaten.

Game with a lot of potential! Would have played more if I could of held the WASD instead of tapping each time.

Fun, but it was really lacking audio, even if it was just a 'swoosh' when you use weapons or a quite sound when you or an enemy hear you moves, it was really lacking feedback. The graphics where simply and suited the retro style. Your obviously a god developer and you achieved a lot in the time, but I'de recommend this video, I know it helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg
Other then that this game is amazing, like I could seriously get into this if there was more feedback.

Frankly? Cool game. However, the pixel design makes the game really hard to read and understand. Many times I've run into monster not understanding that they were monsters.

I also have a problem with controls, being in France I use an AZERTY keyboard, so commands are naturally swapped. But you're not the only making the mistake of mapping WASD and not taking in account the keyboard layout :).

I really dig this game! Only was able to play a little bit of the beginning - DEFINITELY will finish it later ;)

I like games with simple graphics. The limit of how far you can see makes it really hard for me, though.

it is ok, the controls could be smoother and killing enemies with the sword could be less awkward.

Unfortunately I somehow got stuck in the upper wall of the 3 switch room and couldn't move anymore. But I enjoyed it a lot until then. It's impressively big.

Promising with better controls.

I think I found a small flaw. If you use the two keys you get in the top right before you get the power glove, you cannot continue

Also, as already mentioned by someone, the 3 switch room is an easy way to get stuck seemingly due to a glitch with pushing blocks causing the player to move on top of them.
