Nice one! Love the mood, graphics go a long way in this game. Would like to see the HUD elements rendered the same way for more immersion but that's a small thing and the only real critique I can think of.

I love the graphic's style you both went for in this. It would be very cool to see a finished and polished version of this. As it is I found it a bit too hard. I kept trying to save up money for the bigger ship, but never could get enough and ended up loosing the ships I had while waiting. I'd also like to see the ability to zoom in, because sometime the action is focused in a small area, but I suppose that might fit the theme a little less. Good job on this game.

Excellent job! It's a bit rough around the edges (pun intended) but quite good all-in-all. Could use some balance changes and controls could use some work.

This is pretty cool! It needs a Give Up button when you run out of ships and money, though. Or maybe there's some way for the island to generate its own resources, however small, somehow so the player doesn't "lose" long before the island falls.

Had a bit of difficulty fighting, I mean, why is my ship just sitting there being killed? Is it right or left button? I also thought the monsters were gold for a bit.. RTS isnt really my thing, but this made me want to play one.
