First of Many by Anikki
City/Settlement building simulation/exploration hybrid. Goal is to eventually create a self sustaining settlement that survives without exploiting the scarce resources.
I Didn't have time for a full play through, so i'm unsure how long a game takes. Also screenshots are only from the beginning. No epic settlements have yet been built. (Wanna be first?)
Anyway, my first game ever. Enjoy.
--- EDIT ---
Getting Started Guide:
There are four types of resources:
- Food (Grain, Meat, Fish)
- Materials (Wood, Stone, Iron)
- Labor (Manual, Skilled, Advanced)
- Goods (Tools, Toys, Jewels)
Build structures to produce ressources. Each structure requires ressources to operate. Balance production and consumption.
1. Place a campsite near some, and possibly a or for an early boost.
2. Add living quarters like a.
3. Add food supply like.
4. Add other buildings.
5. Aim for balanced supply and demand. But be careful, ressources are limited. The game ends when the map is filled or the last settler is gone.

Could be more clear though
Despite this, the game works perfectly well on the city building/resource sim side, and I love the Dwarf Fortress-like vibe that I get from the minimalist graphics.
Nice job!
The quickest solution, I think, is that you could add more stone units at the beginning of the game.
I'm saying this because in the "Help" you suggest to build near Dirt and Wood and only "possibly" a Ruin\Cache, but actually without an early boost on Stone you can't create much (everything seems to require lots of Stone)
Anyway congratulations for the amazing job :) I know how hard it is to develop a game like this in so little time!
You have a very nice art style.
There are some problems by the way. The game depends too much of the curious spot and treasures to get the stone and iron to build the buildings to get more of those resources. And it needs a better game balance. And relaxing music.
Overall, I love this game :D
