The Hall Affect is a VS. platformer with a twist, It's not just your friends you have to look out for. Magnets will be flying in every direction pulled side to side by each other, some sticking to walls and others forming giant waves. Good luck!

Controls:
Controller (Xbox 360):
Jump: A
Strafe: Left Analog
Shoot: X

Player 1:
Jump: Space
Strafe: A,D
Shoot: Left Ctrl/Mouse 1

Player 2:
Jump: Up arrow
Strafe: Left, Right arrows
Shoot: Right Ctrl

*Note: This is a super alpha, like an alpha but too broken to receive the title. It is best played with xbox 360 controllers as anything else is fairly awful. This is also my first ever entry and second time ever using unity so please give me some constructive criticism!

This game is hilariously bad in its current state, but I certainly got a nice laugh when something (me?) exploded into hundreds of blocks.

@Trixton I know, I know :) This is the first project I made with unity and I used barely any of the time. If I get round to it I will be recreating this without the huge time constraints. I think the concept isn't terrible though.

The concept sounds interesting but I can't understand what's happening in game.
The movements are hard to control, the fact that you slip is hard to master. There are some sound effects issues when you jump on a platform (the sound is played several times, which is annoying).
But I liked too when someone die and is shattered in cubes :)

@Lo-X I wrote a rigidbody character controller and had a lot of issues with getting the controls tighter. I only added damping to horizontal motion in the last hour and that wasn't nearly enough.
