made by BooleanByte for LD31 (JAM)
Game from game jam at Bitraf in Oslo.

Just walk around and use the hoe to make flowers grow.
Use left mouse button to move around and to pick up the "hoe of awesome grow", and use right mouse button to use the "hoe of awesome grow".

Made in a hurry after fully realizing the initial plan for how to make the game went "crash n burn" when having almost no progress because of lots of time went into organizing and research of how to make it in bge(blender game engine) for some reason. Therefore the game is losing alot of mechanics.

So the objective would just be to enjoy the joy of making something grow... digitally.

Uploaded a fix making the mouse only react on a click instead of toggeling 15 times a second.

A nice minimalistic game. Controls could do with an overhaul.

Clicking is a little buggy, I feel like I drop the hoe a lot when I'm trying to use it. Other than that, it's a fun and simple idea.

Had a lot of issues with almost constantly dropping my hoe when I was trying to use it--had to keep picking it up over and over and over, with no indication as to whether I actually picked it up or not.... The music is good, though, and I like the plant animations a lot. Fun to watch them growing.

Thank you for the game!

The controls were really finnicky, which kind of broke it for me. The mechanic was nice, so if it was neatened up a bit, this could turn into something quite nice - as a web game, this could do quite well, I think, but it doesn't really fit as a native game, being as simplistic as it is.

Sound is very relaxing, hoe kept being dropped for some reason though

Nice idea. However for me the controls were very clunky, which made the game by far less enjoyable. Very often the farmer would just drop the hoe, but it still looks the same, and then you use right-click and nothing happens. You do not see that he dropped it until you move to another field. Felt very annoying.

Nice and simple design! Reminds me when I used to help out my grandparents garden... OH GOD WHY! But idea pretty simple and good.

Nice and neat, I realise it was made in a hurry but you can could have improved by adding some UI etc.

Really didn't get what I was supposed to be doing, and the controls were pretty finicky. I never did get a plant to grow and the hoe kept getting stuck and I would not be able to pick it up and carry it.
