Light by Lamiche
Here is my first Ludum Dare, my second Game Jam, and my first complete game, made alone.
I expected to put 3 differents ending depending on number of orbs alight, but I had not enough time.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy my game !
Oh, by the way, here are the controls :
Arrows key for movement
A to interact, now, you can also use Q
Z to Static fireball (if you got the power), now, you can also use W
E to launch a fireball (if you got the power)
ESCAPE to Quit
and F1 to switch Fullscreen<->Window
Oh, and the game resolution is set to 1920x1080.

Hi everyone !
Thanks for your feedback!
Considering it, I'll add some changes and put a new version.
Actually, ennemies are able to switch off torchs when they are next to them (they jump when it happens).
About the fadeout ending, it's normal, I didn't have enough time to put an ending. I will add a simple one.

Well, I wanted to put different ending depending on how many torchs you lighted up. There is no time limit : it ends when you light up the big orb.
I wanted it to be a metaphorical game about the mind : if you decide to fight your monsters, fears, problems, at the end, everything feels better, and you're proud of yourself.

Thanks everyone :D
I would like you to get notice about the top left part of the screen game. As I said above, I wanted my game to be a metaphorical game, so I decided to write my title in Braille. It's up to you to know why :)

Hello !
Here comes the 1.1 version.
Changelog :
-You can now move diagonally
-Animation + sound when you open the chest
-You must light up all orbs to end the game
-Screen with my pseudo after the ending
-Automatically ends after Pseudo' screen

Forgot to mention that, now, you can use Q and W instead of A and Z.

And enemies are actually nicely done. I think you could make more difficult levels just with using them in clever ways!

I wasn't sure at the beggining that round shadows are my enemies.

Could have been longer but you fit a lot puzzles into one screen so I can't complain too much. The graphics weren't anything special but the lightning effects made up for it.
Good job!

This game need more levels. :-)
Well made!
