You are a tourist who on a mission to take a picture of a rare bird, the Hippogriphastopholes. Unfortunately you are stuck on a single screen. If only you could use your camera like one of those camera's in those video games you play. Life's tough for a single screen tourist.
CONTROLS:
Arrow Key: Move/jump
Spacebar: Pick up/drop objects
R: To reset the level
CREDITS:
Programming: Jellonator
Art: AlucardX60
Music: MKSTAR26
Edit(few minutes after deadline): Holy hotfix, Batman! Fixed window displaying wrong title, fixed boxes not colliding sometimes.
Edit2(next day): Fixed the camera glitching through platforms. No idea what happened, just that it's fixed.
Other notes:
-you can edit the levels in /Levels/ if you install the Tiled level editor. See what you can come up with.
-MILDLY IMPORTANT: Since it's not immediately obvious, I'll give you a hint for the tall room with the bunch of spikes: wait until the platform comes down to grab the crate.

The puzzles were all very neat as well. The idea that the bottom of the circle is a ground that you can walk on wasn't very intuitive at first but it's a very powerful puzzle tool.
It was slightly frustrating in some levels, but it made me keep want to play to beat the puzzles, which is a good sign!
The concept is fun, and I love the bird!
I didn't run into any game breaking bugs, but throwing a crate on the camera made it glitch into the ground, but it popped right back up after removing the crate.
Decent controls, and nice graphics! Good job!
For the most part, when I got to the end of the level, I felt more frustrated and mentally exhausted than fulfilled, as I'd spent most of the level working through how the core conditions functioned instead of using initially-learned knowledge to have fun playing around with the levels.
The pixel art was good, and the music was well done. The little bird was VERY cute and a good motivator to get to the end of the level. :)
there were a couple levels which felt like they couldve been split into 2 levels instead of 1, just because restarting was quite painful, but other than that, a very thoughtfully designed & executed game :D
A gift for you from MrTorb, consider it an award for a good game: http://puu.sh/dtRHm/22469f158c.png
Great puzzle game.
Found a way to jump with grey box more the 4 box high. (Mario jump)
Everything was then to easy. Need to replay it with out using the "Mario jump". :-)
Very well made! Thanks for playing our game on twitch.
Thanks for the great game, and I hope to see more of your work.
I didnt first realised the theme with tourist (Yeah, should read the description) but it is great interpretation of the experience of photographer=)
The levels are interesting and the idea with camera and screen is very clever indeed.
One of the best entry in my opinion! ;)
The mechanic itself is quite fun, and level design is better than other entries in that it teaches the mechanics quite efficiently. If only it might be too easy.
The music was a bit off, as it didn't loop very well.
It is an overall good entry, very much centered around a clever mechanic, good job!
I often got crushed by a crate that I threw myself, that seemed somehow illogical and annoying.
Kind of wish you could pickup the camera from above, as you can sometimes get it stuck in corners easily, but that's a minor issue I guess.
Overall this a perfect example of a clever innovation to a massively overused and abused genre of 2d pixel-art platformer. I can honestly call this the next Braid style indie game!
Can't wait to see where you take this post-Jam!
My only gripe is that I was not able to get past the level with a ton of spikes while the camera was rising on the floating platform. My character would die while he was rising for no apparent reason. I did not hit the, but he would still die while the ground beneath him rose, making getting to the top impossible. I'm not sure if this was intentional to have the character die like this, but it was not very obvious how to NOT die and solve the puzzle.
No, the random dying is a weird bug that affects a small ammount of players. No idea what causes it. Probably some kind of floating point thing, but I don't know. Repeatedly jumping helps, but it's not a fix. I wasn't able to reproduce the bug myself, but I have seen people stream it and get the bug. We are creating a post-compo version which should fix everything.
