Time for an upgrade! by BunkeyInteractive

[raw]
made by BunkeyInteractive for LD31 (COMPO)
Time for an upgrade is a really short game about a guy who tries to upgrade his computer screen. I only had 10 hours total to work on this, so it's a tad shorter. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway.

The theme was "Entire Game on one screen." So I made the entire game be about. or focused on, one computer screen.

Controls: A or Left Arrow: Move Left. D or Right Arrow: Move Right.

P.S. I had a VERY busy weekend, so I didn't get to do a lot. Sadly, this wasn't a great weekend schedule wise for me. I worked as much as I could in the 10ish hours I had the weekend. Thanks for understanding.

Nooo! I got stuck at the end (I think it was), I think the dialog bugged... I was back in the store with the money and an empty dialog box pooped, I waited but nothing next. It's fun how you managed to intrigued me with simple arts and a few lines of texts. I was really looking forwards to find out what's going on with that screen. Nice literal take of the theme.

Nice play on the theme. Stopped at an empty dialog.

Overally very funny and very good take on the theme. Could do with some debugging.

I know nobody will see this, but I'm really sorry for all of the glitches. Basically, it ends when he goes to the store and the monitor is all sold out. I was insanely busy that weekend and honestly forgot all about this after I posted it. I'll back with more coolness and better gameplay next time around. I hope somebody sees this!
