Lumit is an arcade game where a player controls Orbs trying to keep them alive as long as possible.
Score is multiplied by number of orbs on screen.
High drop gives 200 points bonus.
Every Orb split into two smaller every 3 seconds.
If an orb collides with other one it absorbs it.
Loosing orbs decreases overal orbs scale procentage.
I did it in Compo deadline but I didnt have any music. So, I spent whole monday learning FL Studio to make some music, but I guess mastering FL Studio in one day is not that easy:)
So I just used a music by Muciojad (awesome track BTW).
The rest I did in PS, Unity.
Controls:
[SPACE] - JUMP
[LEFT/RIGHT ARROW] - move left/right
[ENTER] - PAUSE

Now its correct. Zip archive with all needed files for Linux.
really good game. love the concept a lot.
The sounds and music were satisfying. It would have been lovely if the background music was linked to the action on screen. (More balls / action, more music)
I enjoyed your game a lot, and again, a really good concept that perfectly fits the theme of this Ludum.
@Rothens sorry:) same situation as with Linux. I started it on my PC and it worked, but just because there WAS data folder:D Link corrected for PC also now.
Good job! :D
Orbs splitting is THE POINT of the game:
- it's harder to focus and control 2 orbs than 1. The more orbs there is, the harder it gets.
- the score incrementation is multiplied by the number of orbs, so the more orbs you manage to keep on the screen, the faster score grows.
- when the orbs splits and you loose one, overal scale of the orbs drops, so the orbs are getting smaller and smaller as you loose some of them. If the scale drops to 0%... POP! no orbs ;)
If the orbs didnt split, THAT would be pointless. There is nothing hard in controling one orb. You could just jump in the middle of the screen forever.
And the rotation speed increases every second. Try to keep up to 30K+ pts ;) And if thats too easy, there is also Hard mode and Impossible mode.
Enjoy! :D
Why are there two Madballs in the leaderboard?
Glad you liked it ;)
Really nice graphics and gameplay, it is a complete game... made only in 3 days, wow! Good job :)
