However I found it super hard! I kept letting go of the keys when I thought I had moved and then I died. Probably something you'd get used to, but threw me off.
I also liked the scrolling text.
Something like this where you could also shoot would be gleeful fun.
It took me a while to get used to where I was colliding though. I understood that I was avoiding in the blue grid, not on the camera itself.
Interesting concept to present the controls.
But it felt flipped - am I right?
Good job! :D
The blue square that shows different slots to move to is unessessary, as all it did was confuse me in the beginning. I thought the blue squares was my character, and it confused me why it moved in the opposite direction i wanted it to.
This is a cool game concept. I feel with some polish and testing it could absolutely be a fully fledged game.
Some of the orange thing spawn in unreachable areas, like right in front of a wall, but other than that it's solid.
I really liked how the text was done, too.
The 2 main problems, imho are:
- the theme: your entry doesn't seem to fit it
- the fact that you reset the score to 0 as soon as the player lose! I don't even know what is my best score so far :(
Good job!
quite challenging..
