=========================================================

We used our own custom graphics engine.
Sorry for the character animation :) Some models are grabbed from the web, as are some textures.
Requires OpenGL 4.0 (DirectX 11 capable hardware should be fine).

Linux version is up (tested on Ubuntu 14.04).

It seems like I can't play it. When I launch the game, I hear "buzz buzz" and see a blue rectangle in the bottom-left part of my screen.

That's sad. Probably you don't have OpenGL 4.0 capable Hardware. Could you please send the first line of the ld31.log file?

Can't play the game! All I see is a big blue rectangle on the bottom-left side of the screen. :(

This oint of view can be a nice survival-horror style like the olders resident evil.

Bravo for creating your own graphics engine, I guess I can't be too upset that there isn't a mac friendly version available :(

A bit confusing and the animation is kind of hilarious but cool that you've made your own engine and ambitious going 3d!

Very eerie! Props to you for using a custom graphics engine. While it made for some rough edges, I think you managed to convey the mood of your game really well! Gives off an old-school survival horror vibe, while being a twist on the classical 'fixed point of view'. I did end up being a tad disappointed by the actual ending, bug mad props nonetheless!

It's cool that you made your own engine thingy and it fits the theme however it isn't anything for me.

I liked the idea of it, but I think there needed to be more detail in the scenes. Otherwise, since everything is nearly homogenous, it's very difficult to navigate around. I'm impressed that you both made the engine, however!

Good job with the surveillance camera thing. The character, removes some of the spooky feeling, because of the stiffness. Also I walk around for ages but found nothing... A bit more continuous "feedback" is always good to keep the gamer happy! :)

Good job on the game!

Very spooky game indeed. For the time-span this is excellent, great work!

The dead body that lying at the bed, the strange sounds — all of this give a good prologue to the creepy story. But the camera position made me suffer. :c

scary game. kudos for the graphic engine you made!
the controls are a bit hard, not because of the camera changing positions i think, but because the character is always facing the same direction

It seems like I have... A higher than supported GLSL version?

Would be happy to play if you could tell me how this can be fixed (or if you could fix it). <3

@magnontobi: You are using the free OpenGL implementation Mesa (version 10.5), which implements OpenGL 3.0 (with 4.0 being required).
Installing a proprietary graphics driver would probably solve the problem, provided your graphics card is capable.

I liked the creepy feel the game had, too bad nothing interesting actually happened for the majority of it. The creepy feel made me kind of expect more xP

This game has a very good feel of environment. But the control is kind of disorienting and rooms kind of look the same everywhere... Also, maybe locked doors can have a locked sound when you try to open them. But overall it is still good and the ending is surprising. I think the camera (looking at the television) is also tilting subtly which makes you feel dizzy, which is a good game mechanics. Nice take on the theme, too.
