Tethernum² by Eigen

[raw]
made by Eigen for LD31 (COMPO)
Your objective is to achieve a single color for the whole board.

By clicking on a hex you cycle its color along with all of its neighbours. By observing the connections and overlaps you can work out the order in which to click to solve the board.

Or you know, just randomly click around and hope for the best ;)

This is a spiritual successor to my last LD entry but with updated gameplay and visuals. My goal was to further simplify the simple concept that I developed last time round. I hope you enjoy it!

Be warned - it's a toughie!

This reminds me one of the old games I played that achieves the same thing. It's simple, it's good. I like it!

Very sleek looking game! I had a hard time understanding the mechanics but I think just a few tweaks or simpler starter levels would have helped with that.

Hi there. Liked the puzzle idea. It might be nice to show the triplets, or have that as an option, to remove the memory part from the puzzle, but maybe that's just me. Enjoyed it. Bookmarked for a proper go later.

Very clever puzzle game. It's so simple, yet so difficult. This could make a great mobile game, but it would need some more easier levels, or some better visual indication which triplets belong together.
Also the hitboxes of the buttons are not properly working in Chrome, played fine in Firefox though.

Very hard, and a bit confusing to why it only changes 2 beside it rather then all and why it choices those specific 2

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

I've made slight changes to the rules and now all the neighbouring hexes are cycled ramping the difficulty even higher. If I get a chance I'll try to add more simpler levels.

Nope I can't play this or I will have to punch someone in the face. Too much for me.

Haha, great game.

Interesting concept, but actually solving the puzzles was hard to grasp for me.
