And "YES" it's Supposed to be hard to drive :) it's on ice after all....

For the ones who prefer a "3rd person" version of the game, I also created one : http://games.dm-studio.ro/ld31/index2.html but this does not fit the "one screen: theme so good...

Drive the "Awesome Mobile" trough the obstacles and collect all the gifts as fast as possible.

Use the arrow keys to steer and accelerate/brake, try to avoid the obstacles and get the best time, I got 21.5 seconds, try to beat this !

I created builds for lots of platforms... in case you don't want the universal build for you os you can download the x86 or 64 version, also I created a zip with the web build in case you want to download the web version.

Great little car game. I absolutely love the graphics. Controlling the car was a bit tough, I was constantly crashing as soon as I tried to pick up speed.

Really like the mood and the graphism.
But I keep crashing on every wall...
(the car speed up quickly and the road are really tiny.

This looks great and runs really well. The car is hard to control but that's the challenge of the game. I don't see how it fits the theme though?

The Awesome Mobile sure is awesome! Love the graphics, love the sounds, the handling on the car is a little challenging but that is definitely part of the charm. Great Work!

It was fun controlling the car, and the mood of the game is nice and christmas-y.
The sounds were quite annoying though. Might consider turning down the volume a bit.

Adorable graphics. Narrow passages and somehow easy to miss packages added nicely to the difficulty. Very fun, great job!

It's a fun little diversion. The car physics are a bit off, but I've never driven on snow, so maybe they're not.

Awesome game. Very arcadey. I love how the car handles, very sharp. The camera makes depth perception a little tricky when at the other side of the map, and a backing track wouldn't have gone amiss, but great job. One of my favorites so far.

Nice little game! Not many car games are seen here, and that may explain my lack of skill, crashing against anything :D

I like how entering the goal makes de car fall but heeey you get saved and placed back in the start, haha.

Awesome visuals and a funny idea. Works very well, it just doesn't quite feel like an actual game to be honest - more like participating in a study on weird car controls. :P

Great game! Neat art style, good use of the theme, and pretty hilarious bumping around the track! I managed to get all the pickups and finish the race in 26.8 seconds! Very fun, well done!

I actually think the controls are not too bad, it's more the collision physics that gets me. With a bit nicer physics this might well have been crazy fun. Great work!

A racing game! Great. Cool graphics and nice sound. Unfortunately controlling the car is very difficult.

But hey, the theme/mood is super. Overall a fun little game :)

I almost want the car to steer worse so I'm spinning out around corners or at least bumping around instead of just bumping INTO things which stops me dead. The car reminded me of Penny Racers for the N64.

Nice! I think I collided in every corner of the map. My fastest is probably everybody's slowest. I like how you have to jump of the map to finish the level. I was actually thinking of doing it somehow and there you go. Great little game.

Great graphics! But the camera angle is a bit weird so you can't really see the depth very well.
This looks very polished, the gameplay and level design need a bit more work though :)

- it's supposed to be hard to drive
- yes the map is a bit small... to fit the one screen
- the snow man was a last minute addition... kind of a fail as has lots of polys and does not look very good...I left it there never the less..

Wow, the graphics and visual polish in this game are incredible. The controls are tough but once you get used to them they're actually pretty natural for this game. Nice work!

Somehow this game reminds me of micro machines. I loved micro machines. if the world where a little bigger it would be really fun. or if there where more levels.

I do like the driving and the cartoon style, it gives nice sensations, but I'm not sure the current level design (or circuit design should I say) is honoring the nice driving mechanic. PS : The motor sound is hurting my ears :D

Great visuals, and the car is nice to drive ! I'm not really seeing the link with the theme although, and I think there should be a win screen once you collected all the gifts. ;)

I see what you thought with the theme, but it seems like this would fit better under "Entire Game On One Diorama", rather than on one screen. It's pretty cozy tho. :)

I like the art and sounds, they add a good mood to the game. However, I see a significant design flaw: car games are about speed, drive, dynamics. In your game speed is an obstacle, it's impossible to reach the goal if you speed up, you continuously hit walls. This is against the natural way such games are made so it spoils all fun.

I strongly suggest you to keep working on this game because it has a great potential and may become a great indie game!
