It shows just a white rectangle on black background for me. Windows 8 64bit here.

Nice idea, but I think that lifetime should be included in the score. Controls are nice, but the moving wall in the background was confusing

Really fun, despite how simple the game actually is. The player feedback when jumping is excellent and a welcome change from most game jam platformers. Good job.

I'm really sorry about the white screen problem, it's probably fixed by now

If you still get that issue please tell us your screen resolution, our code is kinda messed up when resizing the game and sometimes that happens :(

@vortex Thanks for the feedback! We were going to add more stuff and there was some simples things we let slip ( as the life counter ) but if we submit a post compo we will definitely work more on that!

About the background, I think we have a sollution that we may try later too, thanks a lot!

Good controls, I missed the ability to control a little bit the height of my jump. Red level was too hard for me D:. But, overall, really fun.

My screen resolution doesnt allow me to play with a laptop... No full screen and the game is to big for my screen.

The sound and the images i see was great anyway, but cannot realy play to it.

It starts a little slow but once it picks up it's fun. There's a nice variety of enemies which helps a lot.

Though it would have been nice to have a little bit more controle, it's a very nice idea and is fun to play.

Simple and fun with pretty colors. I love the ladybug and the other sprites. Very cute.

@Mak Yes we should have done a better polish for the jump height, that's something we will keep in mind and yes, we kind of left the difficulty too high as we got used to the game, we should have done a better balancing, thanks a lot for the feedback!

@Instant Noodles could you tell us the screen resolution of your laptop ? We have been getting some problems with screen scaling but we're trying to make it playable on every possible resolution

@GrabenGroup combos were in our plan but we didn't have the time to put it in the game. Nice job with 3000 points, you almost got to the boss!

@DefectiveMelon we tried to make it slow at the beggining so the players could learn the enemy patterns as they played but I think we made it too slow. Thanks a lot!

Nice entry ! Gaphics are simple, but great, and the overall is pretty good :)

For the difficulty issues, I ask my roomate to play the game during its developpement.
Friends & Family are good for balancing :D

Thanks everyone! We really appreciate it!

@Ekilibr Yes, we did some of that but everyone in the house got so involved that the difficulty went high anyways hahah :P

A really nice little game! The graphics are awesome (I like the pseudo-3D background) and the sound effects made stomping on enemies very rewarding. The boss was definitely the best part, if a little too easy - but I can understand that it's hard to add movement patterns, balance difficulty, etc. in the time limit given.

All in all, well done to you guys! You should all be proud :D

Woah! The game picked up pretty fast. I found it via your blog post asking if we can get to the boss, and I don't think there's any possibility of me ever making it that far. Enemies continue to spawn, and eventually there's too many on the screen to really be able to play. Really like it though, feels smooth and is an overall fantastic LD game. :)

@Rulrite Thanks! We really rushed the boss design as we were close to the deadline already and we ended up letting the other creatures spawn while he was there, to make the difficulty rise a little. Still not sure if that was a good decision but it works for now :D

@BretHudson Thanks a lot! We've been talking about taking the game further and your comment gave us a good idea :)

@sebasRez Thank you!

Hi, interesting game! I liked the rotating well idea, though I felt that eventually there's so much on screen that you can't tell what you're doing! :/ I liked the graphics and little touches like the screen-shake, they really helped the presentation. I wasn't a big fan of the music, which was really quite atonal and distracting... Overall a solid effort though. Keep up the good work! :)

While I was playing your game I had this unsettling feeling... something felt way out of place, but it took me a while to understand it.

I found it really weird (graphically speaking, only) that I'm running up a staircase and, without changing the speed I'm going at (i.e., the stairs kept coming at the same speed), I could move forward and backward. Enemies also moved independently from me/the stairs...
It was like I wasn't actually going upstairs. Like I was just at rest, until I decided to move.
And, when I saw a gif, I had really liked the background effect...

Other than that, it was a fun game. :)
The graphics are cute and I really liked that boss design. Reminded me of an old mickey game for mega drive.

As I said on the stream, this game is nice as it is but could much better. If the graphics were worked more and the game balance too (with some added gameplay mechanics) there could be something pretty fun. As it is now, it's pretty hard/unfair and I could never finish it :(

Love the goofiness of the boss sprite. Runs snappy over here and is controllable easily enough.
Maybe a little too short for my taste. Good job nonetheless!

Great entry I really enjoyed it although after I figured out I could move it actually got harder. Quite a difficult game I think my high score was 1200? My suggestion for next ludumdare would be to add a controls page in the title screen or something make sure people know how to play(I also didn't know the start button for a while)

Nice game, although could've benefited immensely from more polish. When there is a lot of enemies on screen, it becomes heavily dependant on luck because of the limited control the player has(the fixed height of the jump and nothing else). The music loop also seemed to be a little broken? But the jumping was responsive, the graphics nice, and it was fairly fun and interesting for a LD game. Nice!

Nice! Great graphics. I liked the idea how the stair-like place goes, if you know what I mean. It really caught my attention to play more and more, the gameplay was addicting too. :D

Very cute characters. Simple but I like the certain details like the change of color of the background.
