Tough to get into, but once I did I found the gameplay fun and addicting. I could see myself getting hooked. The enemy that throws the bombs is rough.

WIth the size of some of the objects, it was hard to tell what was going on at times, but otherwise a good game with a nice aesthetic. And the escalation of difficulty was well done.

A bit addictive active gameplay, simple but good music and graphics. Nothing special about the theme, but a good game nevertheless.

Lots of fun! I love the SWAT team thing that happens, it motivates you to not just blast everyone. Bombs are fun too. Great game, but needs a way to complete a robbery without any killing.

difficult, but a lot of fun and addicting. Love the little details.
Tiny bug - if you get your first keycard from the bathroom on the left, one of the keycards circles around until you reset.

I had a lot of fun with this :)... I'd only suggest a crosshair is necessary, I kept missing my shots.

Really fun game! Nice level layout with multiple routes, each with their own unique challenge. I liked trying different tactics and overall strategies, there's quite a bit of depth here!

I enjoyed it, I liked the way there's an element of strategy in choosing when/where to start your assault. The gun feels a bit underpowered sometimes though, it seems like you don't really make any difference against some of the tougher enemies.

I like the idea. The wall destruction is a great touch. A fun game that you want to replay again and again after you fail.

This was great fun to play, the addition of the bomb mechanic really helped give the gameplay enough depth to not feel static, and the way the enemies interacted and reinforcements came was really cool. Also the graphics and sounds/music really helped compliment it, great job :)

Nailed it! Really addicting. Once I figured out that I needed to unlock rooms by killing npcs I really got into it. Music escalating with how many enemies were around (?) was great.

The game that I've had the most fun with this LD. Even if not innovating, the mix of strategic level design, an excellent difficulty curve, and amazing replay value makes this one of my favourites. Brilliant work!

Overall, really fun to play. Would be fun to have a two person LAN type of deal going. Highscores I didn't get a chance to check out. The game is really fun like I said before. I had no problem getting into the game. This game however doesn't follow the topic given to us in my opinion. However, it is how you interrupt the idea. I counted the homescreen to even be the room. Didn't dock you hard for that one because thats really my thoughts of the topic. The graphics are pretty good for a top down shooter. The coins are pretty hard to see and I think you really need to define them more than yellow circles. The game isn't really humorous but I don't feel like you were aiming for that. The mood is pretty accurate. Space pirates robbing banks essentially. Fitting. Audio was pretty good too. The 'pew pew' could get annoying but after awhile you start to really tune it out. Great submission.

If you are an OS X user, be sure to allow "Apps Downloaded from Anywhere" in "System Preferenes" -> "Security & Privacy". Otherwise you may get a message saying that the file is damaged.

This is awesome! I've been playing Payday2 lately and this almost seems like a mini 2D pixel art version of that. The gameplay is cool, I like how the intensity ratchets up with the extra cops coming in, and how the bombs destroy walls. Nice music too. Good stuff all round.

Really awesome ! Reminds me a little of hotline miami and monaco and the mix makes for a really fun game. Probably the best game I've tried so far.
(It would be nice if you precised in the game description what is the size of your team and which techno you used)

Fun game, cool concept, a bit annoying sound effects imo.
The controls were awkward from a laptop touchpad, it seemed like it only wanted to use either one at any one time, not the two combined. Still good job overall.

Seriously good game! So many well-made mechanics going on, the gameplay is really solid and fun.
I love the high-tension music change-up and the huge scope of possible stuff to do. I haven't even made it anywhere near a vault yet! The escape-to-double-your-score mechanic is very well considered, too.

This is very complete for a jam entry - how many people contributed to this on your team?!

I disagree with the comment asking for a crosshair, I think the aiming mechanic works well as-is, making it down to the player's own accuracy.

Some very minor nitpicking:
1. Is there supposed to be no way to see/know your health? Kinda irksome.
2. It's very more-ish and quick to retry, but prompting for high-score name every time is really annoying there.
3. I'm a bit concerned as to why it tries to change a bootup registry entry when it runs. I'm not terribly happy about that, and glad I have spybot system shield on. That is nothing to do with your game though, i'm just very paranoid - it's probably just because my own installed version of Gamemaker Studio needs updated.

I like how the difficulty ramps up so you can't just go in blasting. Placing bombs to reach the vaults made it really interesting. Fun game, really liked it, great job :)

nice game man, this is one of those games that I would actually get back and play more with it. its really fun, too hard for me though, I had trouble with shooting. and I am a guy who completed hotline Miami no problem, the number of guards get ridiculously large.
I wish I had a machine gun or a shotgun :D
great game :)

wow! I actually had a great time with this! I feel like there's a lot here that could be expanded upon if you intend to make a post-jam release of this game. There's already quite a bit of content in terms of enemies, and the bank is set up cleverly to allow for quite a few plans of attack/escape.
My only complaint was that enemies seemed to know where you were at all times. Being able to sneak around and outflank enemies would be great fun, especially with the bomb to open up new routes that would get you behind your targets.

Fun piece of Hotline Miami action. A bit too hard at first. The enemies are difficult to aim at and the crosshair is indeed a good suggestion. The graphics are simple but represent well enough the scene. Music was a bit repetitive and annoying but still a little funny.

I feel that it was a little difficult to do much of anything, especially with enemies that took more than one hit to kill, given there is no stealth aspect. Being able to plant bombs and not have everyone run away unless someone sees you would be nice.

I had fun playing your game :D I liked that you could escape any time you wanted because that created mechanic were you had to decide should you try to collect some more money (but could fail and die) or double the amount you currently have. And having high score in game is a nice throwback to times when games would compete who could get the highest score :D

Excellent game. If this had been released for an older gaming system, I can imagine it would have been a very successful game in its time. Even now with enough polish this could be fairly good. Even in its current form it is fun and addictive to play, with a lot of tension when balancing between gathering gold and plotting your escape. Good AI.
