The Claw: I Pick Things Up and Put Them Down by bakpakin
Use the arrow keys to move a virtual hand to press virtual buttons to move a virtual claw to pick up virtual blocks to complete virtual tasks!
HINT: Pinch the blue the blue blocks with the claw. The tips of the claws 'fingers' should be touching the edges of the block. When you successfully grab a block, a sound will play.
Use the arrow keys or A and D to move your hand back and forth over the five buttons. Use down, Space or S to press down your hand on the buttons, which control a mechanical claw. Press the red button with your virtual hand to open and close the claw, as well as scroll through dialog. Use said claw to complete various ridiculous tasks, such as saving poor Bob from falling into the void.
Written in Haxe using Haxeflixel. Art done in Pixelmator, Pixen, and PikoPixel. Music made in Sunvox. Sound from Bfxr.
P.S. Vim is great when it works and sucks when it doesn't.

I also spent a while on the first level trying to figure out why my claw wasn't gripping the little block -- all the blocks looked "detachable" to me initially.
The inner game was actually quite fun, and I managed to stick through to the end. Good work with the level design.
I'd love to see another version with more traditional controls (perhaps automatically animating the indirect controls to keep the "claw machine" theme).
