Prison Riot by RetroEpic
The prisoners are revolting...and they're also trying to escape. It's your job to stop them, with excessive force. From the safety of the security room, monitor the prisoners escape attempts on the prison's cameras and use the prison's doors, lights, turrets and (inexplicably) the washing machines to meet each level's objectives.
But, be careful: You only have access to a limited power supply. If you overload the prison, the prison will experience a temporary black-out and the prisoners' escape will be made easy!
Instructions:
Requires only mouse. Click on defensive systems(like turrets/doors) to activate or deactivate them. Be mindful of your power levels though, over stressing the system can have catastrophic consequences. Get a better look of what is going on in the prison by selecting different CCTV cameras from the prison schematic. Subdue the prisoners!

Interesting concept and it would be great to see more done with it!
There is something wrong with result screen, I had everywhere 0, instead of real value of "killed prisoners" etc. Also would be nice to show level description after pressing "next level". I choose level 1 at beginning, then just click "next level", and then after I finished game, I go back to main screen to read what was descriptions of all the levels. Anyway, I had a fun playing it!.
Btw is there a restart button somewhere?
and it fits the LD31 theme.
thumbs up !
>> There's a lot of stuff that's not really obvious, and even after trying is hard to understand at all - the cameras for example, I still don't understand why there are camera buttons, and why there are more cameras on the map than 4. The numbers at the bottom left too.
>> There's a lot of sitting around doing nothing. I feel quite powerless most of the time.
>> Very little indication of how things work - how do I know when a door's going to break? Or even that it would? How do I know when the guns shoot? Its range? What even is it doing? Washing machines... Don't know when they're gonna blow. Or if.
>> Overall it was just very confusing having all that on screen at the same time, too.
But dang you got a lot in here :) well done :)
But this is my only gripe. So much fun I really wish there were more levels and more things to activate and play with. Would really like to see this taken further so much to be done with the idea! 100% for innovation! ^_^
