Gimme wishes! by Bernte

[raw]
made by Bernte for LD31 (JAM)
Woot, I finally made it. As usual, I didn't thought about frameworks or tools before friday night. And as usual, I made a bat schedule. Yesterday evening I just missed the deadline by about 2 hours. Anyway. I think, this LD got me some good skills in time scheduling so I think it's also useful for my daily business beside being a nerd. So here is my game!

Game:

Help Santa remembering all the presents for the nice children and kick his imp around.

(please onsult ingame help for more information)

Cool idea and great graphics. Hard for me to memorize so many combinations of presents and persons, so it's great that correct guesses give more points than you lose from incorrect ones. Replay value for me is low since i keep getting worse and worse scores for each playthrough. Keep forgetting what was from this, and what was from the previous playthrough. Sometimes it just says "building" with no item name after it, don't know if intended or not.

It was a little bit hard to play because i'm a little bit(or much) tired now, but it was fun. nice entry.

Great artwork though some more instructions would be very nice.

Great artwork. the gameplay is a little bit unclear and the interface a little bit bugged.

Yaay, Christmas! Nice idea, works well with the theme, a little more visual clues /depending less on memory/ would be nice. Other then that, nice game /reminding me that I still haven't gotten around to do my shopping.../

Pretty clever game! I love how the letters were written and the things they were asking for. I also like how it changes each time you play. It was a little hard to read who each of the bags were for once actually in the game. Also the first time I played I wasn't sure what was going on. But when playing through again, it was fun! Good job on this. :)
