Using the darkness to change the obstacles is a smart way to work around the "one screen" limitation and keep things fresh. However, the gameplay was kind of...vague. I run along and jump over spikes, sure, but I don't really know how that affects the torches. Ultimately I got into an apparently infinite loop; I would continually run left, the torches would come on, then they would go off...and so on.\r\rFor a real game, you'd really need instructions somewhere; just something that says, like, "arrows to move".
