It was a little confusing with the tumbleweed like object. I'm not sure what they did, and I'm guessing they were a feature you started to write but ran out of time to do. My other suggestion would be to add some sort of scoring system. I didn't see anywhere an indicator of how many pieces of ore I shot down or how long I survived. For games that are "play until you die," either of these would be a good indicator of how well you played and would spur additional plays."},{"author_name":"Ken Scott","author_uid":"40496","time":"Dec 9, 2014 @ 11:39pm","epoch":1418168040,"text":"Pretty good. It's comments like these that help developers to grow. I'm gonna make another version of the game, soon, where I'll implement all the ideas that I planned for the game and I will add more based on your comments. The "grass thingies" were part of a game mechanic which I really wanted to have in the game but I didn't make it because of deadline."},{"author_name":"zeal","author_uid":"31752","time":"Dec 10, 2014 @ 4:11pm","epoch":1418227560,"text":"Yaroslav Kravtsov: Thanks for your honesty. Like we watch from ground and control rocket remotely. Rocket can fly anywhere, but camera can't move so fast. Player can play about choosing between mobility and visual control over the situation."},{"author_name":"zeal","author_uid":"31752","time":"Dec 12, 2014 @ 4:43pm","epoch":1418402280,"text":"Yaroslav: nice idea and I think I will implement it in the next version of the game. It reminds me of certain old platformers where you got near the side of the screen and had to wait for the camera to slowly move so the player was in the center. When this compo began I had an idea for a game where your goal was to find Earth. But instead of moving somewhere with the ship, you had to hit certain objects and only then the camera would zoom out a little bit. It mattered where the objects were hit: if the hit was made in the upper left corner then the camera showed more of the upper left region. On the other hand if you hit a wrong object then it would show less in that region. Each game the Earth is always somewhere else. Don't know if this concept would be fun in the end but I'd like to try it."},{"author_name":"Elemental Zeal Games Studios","author_uid":"12839","time":"Dec 12, 2014 @ 7:28pm","epoch":1418412180,"text":"Neat entry, liked the graphics.
