The Adventures of Darsh in Offscreenland by mmoustafa

About the game:

We thought it would be funny if, instead of an adventure game where you play as the hero who goes on to the save the world, you play as the hero's master who gives him advice. Where all the action and world-saving happens conveniently off-camera and we finally get a perspective of someone other than the hero. (Inspired by Ash's mom, perpetually waiting, patiently and very still)

The game kind of evolved over time, and we started a day late, but this is what we came up with. Hope this gives you a laugh!

I like the idea and art work of this game as it is silly and fun.
The writing is fantastic and I like the dynamic of a ninja and a peaceful monk.

Nice use of the theme, having all action happen off-screen.

The game felt really short though.

Nice concept and graphics. The game is really fun especially when you know your answer is wrong but you go for it anyway just to see what will happen :) The day/night effect is pretty cool as well.

Great game! Some ambient music would do wonders for this master simulator! :)

Just AWESOME. Man, I loved the game, I wish for it to be longer, though it was made in 3 days so it's understandable. Maybe continue developing it after LD?

It's quite funny, and the idea shows promise, but it felt a bit too shallow and short.

hahah cool game. I couldn't hold myself from moving master through introduction dialog between phrases to build a dramatic effect! About gameplay, sometimes get repetitive to do all over again and hope you choose the right path this time. Nice graphics but of course this game shines on humor. Good job!

It was funny at first, but then it got tiring when I was trying to see all possible "endings"...

But the correct run was funny. :)
