*- Fixed an issue with the controls (accidentally left it setup for a custom arcade stick when pushing to web) and a bug with the portal not ending the game.
80s style arcade game where the player controls Galvatross, a giant metal bird, as he protects the Time Portal from being ripped open by the Tranglors. Galvatross must kill enemies before they enter the portal, or it will get bigger. Too big and the portal will collapse the universe. Galvatross may collect Time Crystals in order to make the portal smaller. Game ends when player is out of lives or the Time Portal gets too big. Kill the Tranglors. Save the Universe.
Move - Left/Right Arrows
Jump/Flap Wings - X button repeatedly
Teleport - Z button + Arrows
Extra Life every 5000 points.
May Galvatross Protect Your Skies.

I press X but nothing happens.
My main criticism is that the worm hole and teleportation were a pretty clunky. I never really figured out how the worm hole worked, but it seemed like a god ability.
Loved the art :D
Good job
Thank you for the game!
Also when you lose a life, if an enemy is there in the spawning point, you lose another life.
Overall, the game is good, but needs some improvements.
I appreciate the Joust homage but some things bug me. I was often killed by enemies on the platform above me, i.e. they killed me through the platform.
The mix of pixel art at various resolutions against the the blurred background doesn't look unified.
The teleport is interesting but seems buggy... the enemies sometimes rapidly zip around unexpectedly when I use it. When it does work it seems totally OP because there's no apparent limit on it's use... but then sometimes it results in instant death as an enemy zips across the stage, through platforms, to my position.
This game actually felt *more* responsive than Joust (at least as I remember it).
I didn't realise that the screen wrapped around until I'd been playing for a while!
The teleport move is a cool addition to this kind of game. Nice work!
Also your title screen is immense. Amazing, Awesome. I love it. There should be a ludumdare category purely for title screens
