Snowman Drop by Viza

[raw]
made by Viza for LD31 (COMPO)
Hi LudumDare-ers!

This is a kind of minimal entry, but I have reasons :)
- The game made in an extremely short time (around 6 hours) during a family mini-holiday...
-... to which I did not bring a computer at all, so EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME WAS MADE ON MY PHONE :)

I used Pixels Touch and Sketchbook for creating the graphics, SFXR (what else? :)) for sounds, and Touchdevelop for coding. Oh, I also learned Touchdevelop while creating the game... :)

Ohh, and as you probably noticed, I also used the snowman theme, but the game is still more or less single screen game :)

Impressive for so few hours! Oddly addicting too. I think my high score was 640 points, though I did not sign in to use the leaderboard.

Fun little time waster. My favorite strategy was to have circles barely touch so that I had as wide a landing surface as possible. Not great for high score, but harder to lose. Also, ran into a bug where the description screen didn't go away and the snowman just built ontop of it.

Like the idea for this, especially how you made it with snow men instead of usually houses! XD

Pretty impressive considering the conditions in which it has been made! Congrats!

That being said, I don't know if you fit the theme so much, your screen is moving, the the entire game is not visible everytime, so it's not really on one screen I guess.

Hi there. Nice mechanic. Very good job given your constraints!

Got to 315. Very amusing, great idea. Would love to see it polished with more details. Would be great on mobile too! I hope you finish it. :)

I really like the graphics and the game is hard enough to make me keep trying :)
I didn't think it would be possible to develop on android, I'll check out Touchdevelop! I've also used Sketchbook for some graphics.
(Another Hungarian developer.)
