Tight controls, really cute graphical style, and a creative implementation of the theme. The graphics work really well, and the sound is good too.  Interesting game design, though I think the nature of the shifting-between-levels thing is hard to remember - either that, or it's just me :)  I used one boss killer, but then after a while couldn't find my way back to the others and stopped. (I didn't realise there were others until looking at the walkthrough)  Nice entry though!  I also liked that the enemies followed you through the rooms; seemed better for continuity."},{"author_name":"FrozenCow","author_uid":"8435","time":"Dec 21, 2014 @ 2:05pm","epoch":1419170400,"text":"Really cool concept and scene transitions. I found the boss and after that 2 boss-killers, but couldn't find the last one. Controls felt good and the difficulty was (in the end) right for me (apart from the confusion about where I could find the last boss killer)"},{"author_name":"ceosol","author_uid":"34411","time":"Dec 23, 2014 @ 10:26pm","epoch":1419373260,"text":"Since you used outside bgm and sfx, you should probably opt out of audio.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I absolutely adored the strings attached to the graphics. It made me feel like I was watching a puppet show. I wish you had that style for the entire thing... the car and enemies seemed very out of place. I didn't count that against you, though, I understand the time constraints :)\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I didn't like the feel of the controls. Gravity felt a little bit too strong (i.e. bullets being pulled downward and car jumps barely going anywhere). Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing the game. Space or enter to fire. Down at a portal will bring up a different \"room\".\r\n\r\nThis theme seemed way too easy: most of my past LD entries fit on one screen anyway. To challenge myself, I required that I had to incorporate exploration. To allow exploration without leaving the screen, I had the screen change around you. That's the inspiration for the stageplay theme of this game. I didn't want to just make it a cop-out where I'm getting away with changing rooms on a technicality. That's why enemies remain even when you \"change rooms\", and you'll see this is an essential mechanic when it comes to fighting the boss.\r\n\r\nIf you get stuck or frustrated, please try out the EASY link above. It gives you extra health, quadruple jump ability, and tells you the name of the \"room\" you're in, to help with navigation. Also see the tips and map in the link above.\r\n\r\nThe game works at different resolutions. If you click through to the site, you can set the resolution by resizing the browser window.\r\n\r\nMusic: autotracker-bu. SFX: as3sfxr. Fonts: Google Web Fonts.\r\n\r\nThanks for playing! Looking forward to your feedback.","title":"All the World"}
