Operation: Dead Man by cptalbertwesker
You are the world's final hope!
... no really, you are.
It would seem as though your best pal, President of the World has gotten into a bit of a pickle, and whilst fooling around with the lesser president's they appear to have begun the launch sequence for some particularly deadly missiles that are aligned all ready to explode the planet!
Sounds exciting and dangerous right?
Well in order to stop it you'll have to go back in time so that you can disable them from your PC.. although you can't go back in time.. so I guess it falls back to the last viable option; Operation: Dead man.
You're going to have to waggle your mouse every minute or so, or you may just bring about the destruction of the planet!

This must be the shortest LD entry I've ever done, unfortunately having to work on Saturday, and being unusually lazy/upset about the theme that won, I didn't actually start on the game until 7am on Sunday, and even so I must have only spent about 5-6 hours straight on it.
Made in Game Maker Studio, using Audacity to record various sounds I can make around my house, and recreating Windows windows with the brilliant GIMP and of course Paint.

Also, on the HTML version the countdown goes into minus figures :)
Nice touches with the spam email.
