It is basically the same IMO as room transitions. If maybe some rooms had\/good surprises the replay ability would be much higher. I didn't hit any bugs myself. Place the elevators on opposite sides of some floors or monsters on the elevators to make it harder. Example elevators on one side, stairs on the other.
