In my opinion it could be good game but because i only worked half day and wanted to implement something hard it didn't give me big results. Map is procedural generated so like "broken" halls. You can move around a map by using WASD keys. On map you can see nothing special, only rooms and halls. I wanted to make monsters which can kill player and you have limited time to find boss and one shoot him. I hope so in the next LD something bigger will come. I was using custom framework called Entropy. If you don't want to vote, don't do it and don't leave hate comments
This is absolutely not finished, sure it's an alright job in half a day but you shouldn't have published something without game play. That's just wasting peoples time..
Nice job with the map generation, but I kind of agree with seledorn. In the future, it might just be better to do a front page blog post about your experience, challenges, goals, etc. That way you can still show off your work. As it stands right now, you're kind of setting yourself up to have a lot of negative comments written.
Go ahead and publicly publish your code framework for the procedural generation and next LD you can pick up where you left off with this idea! I like the map - looks very much like an above view of a city/street layout.
It's not very interesting when there's no player input at all... but I hope you still learned something while making this. Takes a few jams to make something decent in such a short time span. Better luck next time :)
Nice map generation, I would like to know how to do such a thing, honest. I´m sure if you had had more time, it would have been awesome. Don´t get discouraged, in my first Ludum I also didn´t finish.
Maybe it is your first entry, so keep improving!
But it is indeed unfinished and time wasting :(
A single input to do something would improve your game substantially!
Hi there. Good job for procedural generation. Suggest working on a slice of complete game as soon as possible (so proc. gen could be null function first iteration) then fill things in. Should be possible to get playable that way. Well done for putting something out there, keep it up!
ps. work on colorscheme :)
