Castle Dice by cacciatc
For this game I asked the question: "what if the NES Castlevania mini-map was a simple battle dice game?"
I thought of the Castlevania mini-map because it shows the setting of the entire game on almost one screen.

A bit confusing at first and the drag and drop is difficult on my touchpad. I'd rather just click the dice that I want to use. Other than that: Fun game! Well executed and fits the theme. :)

It took me a few rolls to figure out how to buy the items. I was actually blown away by how polished it is in just a couple of days. Graphics are real good. I love dice games, and mixing it with Castlevania is cool. You may have something. So far it is my favorite game, and I played it longer than I needed to in order to get a feel for the game. That means it was good.

Hi there. Enjoyed killing a vampire bat. Like the battle dice choice and combat. There was a minor bug if you click blue second time before dice roll animation has finished then the sprite returns but leaves the rolling numbers in place until end of your next turn...

Definitely a bit of a confusing interface, but the idea is very neat and it's well-executed. Thanks for the game :)

Confusing at the start, but I think the concept is really nice. Would like to see it expanded on!

I like your game very much. had a lot of fun staring at the numbers and hoping to get the enemies down. cute character drawings.

Fun little game for such minimalistic animations. I will say the drag and drop action was a little hard to preform sometimes do to the drop zone being unforgivingly small in size..but then again I'm using a laptop touchpad

The game felt a little slow to me. A bit more polish on the animations and audio would probably help. Good effort!

nice game - fits the theme well - i did not like dragging the dice continually, and it would have been good to explain the dice a bit better in the game.

Nice as a concept. You make the same mistakes as me by not focusing on the user experience :D Single clicks to add dice, a button to skip the rolling, highlighting of items you can buy with your current roll. But I know how these things get pushed back and then not added during a jam. Nice!

It's a nice proof of concept. There are still a lot to improve, especially regarding the UI/UX. This types of games are already quite slow, making the player drag and drop 4 squares every single time to attack causes it to be even slower. Keep on polishing it, could become a nice mobile game.
