A simple, abstract game were you play as a small light that must avoid other light rays. Avoid the lights for as long as possible to build up your score. Pickup lightning bolts for extra points and batteries for extra lives.

You will need Java installed to play the download.

Unfortunately the collision detection is slightly off and light rays sometimes appear too quickly starting out in the play area already. This also is supposed to be a Web game, but I will have to work on porting it as I am currently having problems with Libgdx and Box2dLights compiling for HTML.

It's very simple, but solid and works. I'd have liked to be able to move diagonally. Solid effort. :)

As you play the game the visuals get pretty cool! The controls could use a little smoothing, though.

Was pretty fun. I like the light blur idea but would have liked crisper graphics with glows instead of blurs. Nice work.

Great mood. Controls felt a little weird, but I think that's because you can't move diagonally.

Does the game get any more difficult as you go along? I ended up with over 100 lives and I don't think I ever would have died. If as time when on more beams spawned at once I think it would add a better feeling of accomplishment and would make you want to try to beat your previous score.

Fun game! It went smoothly till' about 41000 points, and the suddenly it started lagging like crazy. I think it happened when I picked a lightning-powerup. The only thing I miss in this game is gradually increasing difficulty.
The music was really sweet and soothing by the way. Good job!

Would have fit to 'avoid the light' too. Sadly it was a little bit to easy, so it got boring after 55k points and 15 lives left. An increasing difficulty would have been nice.

I don't know if it was my computer, but the game started to chug which allowed me to jump over thin lights. The graphics are simple and clean and it plays well.

A lil easy, but pretty fun for while it lasted, it did start lagging around the 40k point for me as well, enjoyable for sure :).
