Footage by Muush

[raw]
made by Muush for LD31 (JAM)
(Very incomplete game)

In Footage, you control 4 cameras during a pacifist protest.
Originally there would have been several minutes of a sequence of events, and a "Record" mechanic to register different happenigs, however I ran out of time.

WASD - Control Camera
Left Shift - Zoom In
Right Shift - Zoom Out
1,2,3,4 - Change cameras
Space Bar - "Record" (wasn't implemented)
R - Restart Scene
ALT+F4 - Close Game

I made the 3D models and textures. Did not make the animations or shaders.

It lacks a bit of action, but otherwise it's pretty good idea

I couldn't figure out the purpose of the game. What goal you have to achieve. But nice grafics and cool idea with this ctv cameras.

Great idea with the cameras. Works well too and a solid fit for the theme. Too bad there isn't a goal to accomplish in the game.

Boy, do these rioters get their ass kicked though! I need to record this...

It had a very good atmosphere to it but I feel it is missing a certain "something". But other than that great job!

Definitely a neat start. Has a lot of potential to be a cool adventure/mystery game.

Nice setting and idea. Too bad you didn't get to finish it, I would love to see it complete.

Great work. Poor citicens - they were so peaceful!

Too bad you couldn't finish it - I would have liked to see more! Maybe a post-jam upload, after the voting?

I really like the way you see the scene from different persepctives and each perspective teaches you something else about the scene.

If you ever continue on this:
- I suggest you limit the camera movement (I can spin 360° if I want to - that's not realistic for an attached camera)
- On Linux, I can choose screen sizes at the beginning, but if I don't choose a widescreen resolution, a small part of the image is missing on the right (the camera buttons for cam 2 and 4).

Good work!

REALLY like the idea and it was fun to mess around in the scene! Spot on for the theme as well! (Got the web player working on my computer finally, my browser = dumb)

The camera movement is very smooth. However, the game kind of lacks an objective.
