Little Town by Wevel
Second game for Ludum Dare, hopefully this is a bit better than last time.
If you find any bugs can you mention them in the comments because then i can fix them in a published version of this game.

Instructions:
-Click on the arrows on the scroll to go through basic info
-click continue to play
-help button will bring up scroll
-restart button will reload the game
-build button allows you to build the 6 different buildings
1)House it spawns a worker, if upgraded it will spawn more.
2)Research Building will generate research points which can be used to upgrade buildings, upgrading this will generate more points .
3)Stock Pile will store food, wood and stone the materials, upgrading it will store more materials.
4)Farm will generator food but needs a worker, upgrading it will generate more food and faster.
5)Tree will generator wood but needs a worker, upgrading it will generate more wood and faster (yes trees are buildings).
6)Boulder will generator stone but needs a worker, upgrading it will generate more food and faster.
-Move mouse over map after selecting a building to place and then click where you want it to be
-A worker will automatically be assigned to build it
-Clicking on a building allows you to turn it on and off, destroy it and level it up.
-You will need to upgrade buildings due to you being limited by the screen size as to the area you can build in (that's the link to the theme).
-If you run out of food people will die
-Try and build a big city without too many deaths
-Each person eats a food every time they finish 3 jobs
-A level 1 farm will provide food for 2 people other than its worker
-If you don't have enough farms compared to the number of workers you have you will still lose food, if this is happening either upgrade or get get more farms.
Sorry about the lengthy instructions.
As im writing this i can think of so many extra features that i should have added so I will probably try and turn this into a bit more of a finished game at some point, but have fun with this version.

For some reason I wasn't able to get it running smoothly. The first few buildings were always built, but after a short time the workers seemed to stop building. I tried to keep wood up with trees, but the workers just didn't want to build. Maybe I didn't get something right :D
The sounds are nice, but the music gets a little depressing after some time. I didn't mute it, because it was quite fitting, but it is nice, that you provided proper adjustment methods for the sound.
The game is definetely on the right track! Nice work!
