Stick Dude by Havi
Finally I'm done with my first LudumDare! :D
The game is far from finshed, but it's playable..
How to play:
Take out the endless enemy waves and survive for as long as possible. You have 3 weapons: pistol, shotgun and rifle. Enemies randomly spawns ammo and medkit when killed.
Controls:
A, D - move left and right
Space and W - jump
S - move down
Left mouse - shoot
Right mouse or left shift - cycle weapons
The "How To Play" part is not implemented so the button just quits the application.
I also didn't get to work on audio really, so it's crap :)

I really liked the pace and difficulty level. It's FUN and thats what games are about :)
Also nice bloodsplatter effects
It takes too long to get from wave to wave.
Sound is really really not good. I'm not sure what you used but look into sfxr for really easy sounds that are good.
I always had rifle ammo after a while and the game became impossibly easy.
I didn't expect much when I started it, but after a couple of seconds of playing I realized it was actually very fun. The mechanics are smooth and enjoyable.
Also, there's a small bug in the enemy AI that allows the player to survive indefinitely in the left corner of the of the second platform from the ground.
Oh and I didn't know Unity did WebGL builds, more people should do that !
You did a good job capturing all the essential gameplay and as everything is in place and feels good enough the game isn't hindered by the simple graphics.
Of course it's "raw" but everything seems to be working fine and the core is incredibly fun! :D
I think I'll have a look at your source code, because I really want to know how you dealt with AI and collisions!
Great job!
Simplicity is efficient :) Just had different kind of ennemies, and it could extend nicely the playability.
It's a fun little game! I like the different weapons, jumping through platforms, it feels pretty good!
If you continue with it, I would definitely add some more variety of enemies. Also I think the health system is a little weird. I could run through a lot of zombies and hardly get hurt, not to mention so many enemies would drop resources (especially health packs). I was never low on ammo or health. I think a few hit point system (like 3-5 hearts) would fit this game better.
Overall though cool game! And an awesome first LD submission! ^^
