Augustan Rogue by purgatory
Stealth game set in the times of the ancient Roman empire. Play as a spy to steal secret technologies.
I was unable to finish it all... I wanted more levels. Many graphics are low quality (2d top-down games generally look dodgy regardless) and the menu screen is a concept art! More importantly, I have 0 sound effects or music, which I am not familiar with.
Regardless, I feel it's a decent effort for my first game jam. I'll try not to give myself too much work next time!
**Tips**
-Equip your daggers (number 2) and sneak behind the guards to kill them
-Use your throwing knifes sparingly! You only have 3, so save them for picking off hard enemies at range or if you need to kill a guard that's locked onto you.
-Movement creates sound, as shown by the circle (does not travel through walls) that enemies will hear. Make use of ctrl to sneak!

It' really hard game, the absence of music is lacking especially when the game's art is kinda cool and could be complemented well by soundtrack to set the mood.
A tiny "problem" - the AI path finding is... non existant
they just walk straight to you, even if there's a wall and they get stuck.
Few issues I picked up on:
- First enemy is a pure trial and error learning experience. Very much thrown in at the deep end. I'd try to make him visible some how so you can introduce people to the game.
- Character doesn't properly face the direction your mouse is pointing. It looks cool and plays well and this was a let down for me.
