I'm not sure how the scoring system is supposed to work because, due to the procedural generation, scores from different games aren't necessarily going to be comparable. The particle effects when you slam a huge planet into a sun are so cool though."},{"author_name":"deadpixelsociety","author_uid":"3308","time":"Aug 25, 2014 @ 6:30pm","epoch":1408991100,"text":"Agreed about the scoring.  It's very, very loose at the moment and only a reflection of how you played.  The plan was originally to have you be able to name a system to generate, or re-visit past systems.  Plus other scoring mechanisms.  We just ran out of time really."},{"author_name":"mr.possoms","author_uid":"11895","time":"Aug 25, 2014 @ 10:17pm","epoch":1409004720,"text":"This game is awesome dude, well done. Had a lot of fun throwing planets into the sun (best score: 30255).\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Only criticism is that it's a bit too easy to get lost. Would like an indicator where the sun is, and maybe a visual effect showing that I'm successfully tethered (so I don't ram myself into a planet and get destroyed).\r<br\/>\r<br\/>That said, awesome entry! :)"},{"author_name":"Tosic","author_uid":"35464","time":"Sep 6, 2014 @ 7:33pm","epoch":1410031680,"text":"Very, very nice game, I like everything about it, the idea, sounds! :D"}],"images":["ld30\/3308-f4fc825c2ed3796e2d92f92c7a9c59f8.jpg","ld30\/3308-42e1b2a04b4e6377c19be134bcb3045c.jpg","ld30\/3308-1a7e0585d3f7f952b819a923561068a2.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"http:\/\/thedeadpixelsociety.com\/nemesis\/","text":"Desktop"},{"url":"https:\/\/bitbucket.org\/deadpixelsociety\/ld30-nemesis","text":"Source"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"15937","g_author":"3308","g_event":"LD30","g_eventkey":"24","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"15967","g_title":"Nemesis","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"110","g_commentcount":"13","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/375043\/3308-shot0.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/375043\/3308-shot1.png-eq-900-500.jpg","http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/375043\/3308-shot2.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"A physics-based game that takes the theme pretty literally.  \r\n\r\nControl the evil planet Nemesis as you seek to swing, crush and incinerate all the planets in an unsuspecting solar system!\r\n\r\nRequirements:\r\nJava 6+ \r\nOpenGL 2.0+ compatible graphics card\r\n\r\nCoding: The Dead Pixel Society\/@deadpxlsociety\r\nArt: Simple Independent Studios\/@thedogofdoom\r\n","title":"Nemesis"}
