You can run it with Python3 if you have Pyglet and PyOpenGL installed by running \"onlypyglet.py\". The art is placeholder, there are no menus or music and, most importantly, there is no way to interact with the game. It won't be finished by the deadline. Thus, please either give it a bad rating or don't rate it at all (whichever is appropriate).\r\n\r\nI am submitting the entry because I plan to submit a \"post-compo\" version and I hope a couple of people will get to play it. I apologise if there is a problem with this. Please remember that you <em>shouldn't<\/em> rate the post-compo version, only the original.\r\n\r\nMy original idea was to make a very simple RTS game, slightly inspired by the indie hit \"Eufloria\" (previously known as Dyson). I came up with the idea on my own but given that it is similar do Eufloria, I have taken a couple of tricks from it. The game would revolve around different cultures and species fighting for dominance and each would have wildly different characteristics (for instance, the plague can only reproduce by destroying a planet, whereas humans need houses and a healthy planet). Alternatively, the game would revolve around different philosophies fighting each other, and the way you would take control over a planet would be by \"converting\" it.\r\n\r\nBoth games follow the competition theme because it involves managing your worlds, sharing resources and connecting with new worlds.\r\n\r\nThank you for reading and thank you for playing! <3 I wish everyone the best of luck!","title":"The Plague"}
