Wealth of Stations by koredozo

[raw]
made by koredozo for LD30 (COMPO)
A space trader themed (i.e. as loosely 'connected worlds' as possible) take on the classic game Drugwars.

I intended to make it a little more interesting than it turned out, but as usual, my LD entry ended up as more of a barely surmountable personal challenge than a worthwhile game in its own right. Better luck next time?

* The game mostly controls with the mouse and left and right clicking. Try clicking on stars.
* Yes, the spaceship is drunk after warping. I couldn't do the math to orient it correctly.
* I composed music but wasn't able to record it except in intolerable quality. (Consider not sequencing your music within an emulator for a 20-year-old vintage computer that for some reason is unable to run at full speed.)

Very cool concept, but I feel that the interface is ill-conceived. Hard to work with, but a good concept anyway.

I like it. I only have one gripe with the interface, which is that it's very hard to find a particular planet once you've traveled away from it.

Nice concept. The interface is a bit wonky, and either I don't get the price system or it's borked :)

I expected to buy cheap at one planet, and sell where valuable. But when I warped back to the other planet the price was similarly low as the buy price.
