But which? Will you bring light into the world or douse it forever?\r\n\r\nOnce you've joined the fight, steal gold from the other team's mountain and bring it back to your team's stash. As the balance changes, so will the environment!\r\n\r\nBe warned, however! You'll periodically see members of the other team wink into your existence. If they're too close you'll have to do battle!\r\n\r\n-- Play Notes\r\nThe unity web-player polls the game-server for updates every 10 seconds. Other players will appear briefly (3 seconds) at their last known location.\r\n\r\nRan out of time to implement player vs. player card combat so all there is to do is collect gold for your team. Teams, Light or Dark, are chosen in a round-robin fashion: The first player joined will be on the Light team, the next on the Dark and so on.\r\n\r\n-- Dev Notes\r\n\r\nRetrospective will be available on or about 08\/26\/2014 at: http:\/\/projects.psema4.com\/unity\/ld48-30\/postmortem.html\r\n\r\nBugs:\r\n - gnome meshes & animations: not implemented :(\r\n - pvp card battles: not implemented :(\r\n - tree bark normal map is missing\r\n - missing archway texture\r\n - web clients do not always disconnect cleanly\r\n - no nexus control to restart the server\r\n\r\nAbout the server:\r\nExpress powered Node.js server provides http endpoints for a team-based multiplayer experience.  \r\n\r\nAbout assets:\r\nMusic was created with Audio Evolution on Android and exported via Soundcloud. One sound effect (\"Clink!\") was recorded with Audacity.\r\n\r\nTextures were produced with the Gimp. Archway model produced with Blender.
