Gravity Flipper by Dino

[raw]
made by Dino for LD30 (COMPO)
In this game you control two characters which are both trapped in different worlds.

The only thing connecting the two worlds is you.
You must keep both characters alive by reversing their gravity.

Unfortunately, both of the worlds are connected.
Reversing one world's gravity will also reverse the others.

Click the mouse or press space to reverse gravity.

When I tested the game, the web version ran well in firefox and google chrome.
Internet explorer didn't work for me so you might want to try using a different browser if the game doesn't load.

The fourth screenshot is a qr code which you can use to download this game directly on your phone. Thanks to caranha for the idea.

Good luck!

I liked this. Pretty hard to advance but I liked the color scheme and minimalistic feel.

Fantastic, the game is very simple but extremely effective. I love the overall feel of the graphics, and the music fits perfectly. The game is very fun as well.

I would suggest that you replace one of the screenshots in this page with a QR code for the android download page, so that people who find this game from a PC can access the phone version directly :-)

Cheers!

I tried quite a few times and only got about 1k in score. So since my reflexes aren't lightening fast, I would have liked it to be a little easier in the beginning. Quite often there were bars I though I could pass under but they just barely hit me (so maybe be a little friendlier with the collisions).

If you toss in something like speed, so that the stuff keeps coming faster and faster you would really have a game that would have me destroying my spacebar.

I tried not to die, but it was very difficult. :-D Nice/clever idea though.

This is very difficult, but it's a good idea! Focusing on both sides is difficult. Nice color scheme, too.

Tough game, but good. In the browser the spacebar can scroll the window down.

It's a simple idea simply executed and yet I can't stop playing it. Agree with everyone's opinion on too hard at the start.

Nice work!

Good concept, but found it very hard right from the get go. Maybe a more gradual progression in difficulty?

Really hard to control these cubes, but this game is fun. Music is the best part. For a first entry for LD you made the grade. Well done ++

I enjoyed this game. I love taking risks in games by cutting things close and this one satisfied that need greatly! great job!

A very nice idea in using gravity this way. It could be soooo much better if the squares could connect faster. Anyways good job.

The best android game I've played so far (in the LD I mean). Really hard, really fun and pretty addictif. I absolutly have nothing to complain about.

Very cool entry! I love the audio and the little "explosion" when you die. Very polished for an LD game! :)

This is pretty fun. I didn't know that you could collect the circles at first but once I figured that out it made things much easier. I like the sound and graphics. It would be cool if you added immersive mode to the Android version.
