Pyramid Is What I Need! by tr0ma

Pyramid Is What I Need a.k.a PIWIN is a minimal "god game" with slight elements of RTS. The intention was to subtract from RTS all the elements of deciding where your units need to go. This would be all handled automatically.

The goal is to be the first one to build a pyramid. You just have to create the right units at the right moment. Very simple.

The mechanic is a little obscure, and you might lose at first. But, eh, isn't it what video games are about? Observe carefully the AI to understand what needs to be done... Also that balancing is definitely not perfect. Tweaking it is very tricky and is taking quite some time.

This is my very first Ludum Dare and actually my first game jam in general. This experience was extremely intense but very rewarding.

Hope you appreciate it!

Note: You can scroll left and right when the mouse on the edge of the window. Works great in fullscreen.

Fun little game! I managed to win in about 60 seconds so you could probably make it a little harder. I built tons of miners at the start, then a reaper, and the ai never got a chance to start their pyramid XD. The art is really nice, I just wanted it to last a bit longer!

The game looks very clean and nice, functions well, and is fairly easy to understand. Very nice job all around. I especially like the ability to screw over the other player. Only complaint I might have is that the game's a bit too easy, at least using the strategy of miners to build up points and just spamming out assassins works a bit too well.

Thank you very much for all the good feedbacks, I might carry on some more work on it in the future, regarding balancing especially. But I also have in mind a few more features and a better progression system. We'll see how it goes.
