I like the Gameboy style graphics and the red colour really helps setting the environment

I like how you can shoot in both directions at once :)

The design of the tall enemy is terrifying!

Level is rather confusing but I guess that goes hand-in-hand with the retro theme.

Strange setting, but cool.
Creepy enemies.

In one place there's something that looks like a switch, and some text comes up when you're near it, but it's behind the level and I can't seem to activate it. If that's supposed to be possible ..

And as high as I can go, all the way to the left, there's a gap that seems too wide, I tried double dashing but I can't get across.

I love how the shots come out of your..face?
Really cool art style and animations.

The graphics are very moody, gameplay is solid, but I think it lacks an objective, I scored 430 points the second time, the first I died instantly run over by a train...

Solid game! That the art is amazing goes without saying.
I'd like some music the set the mood better.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
@ tacospice, That's definitely a bug, looks like I covered it up doing my last minute level sprucing up.
@ Lokarunith, Objective was something I wish i'd of had time to add. The scoring system was a bit of a cop out on my part, I needed atleast a tiny objective. Thanks for playing!

An horrific and minimalist atmosphere all in red, i like it. Even if the gameplay is pretty simple and classic its a good work.

Well definitely this takes an A in mood and definitely looks quite interesting. Although I wasn't sure how it fit the theme.

I liked the gameplay and I liked the red hue (although it was a bit straining to the eye). I also found the enemies to be creepy and fitting the mood.

There was a bug though where the jelly like enemies would stick to my position (the first I tried it I climbed above right away and then descended to find that all the jelly gathered below me). They'd follow me where ever I go so if I press left, they move below me left. I couldn't get rid of me since we move at the same speed.

Happened at the end with one of the taller guys which killed me (since it seems he damages me on touch).

Interesting game all in all and even though it needed some direction :). Good work!

Nice game, lovely graphics. The enemies have great reflexes that's for sure, dashing is an important part :) Didn't truly get your take on the theme and music would be a great implementation in the future :)

Kind of scary/creepy with the whole red theme. That monster with its arms up was like something out of Pan's Labyrinth.

Haha train! From out of nowhere! That was great.
For the style you were going for, the graphics were good. The sound effects were nice; they didn't annoy me, which is huge.
My big gripe is enemies moving at the same speed as you and clinging to your x position making it impossible to move away into an advantageous position in many cases. I'd often get stuck on top or beneath one with no way to get out, and just watch my health slowly deplete. Oh I guess I could have dashed. Still made me feel a little too powerless though, I dunno. Overall pretty cool.

Graphics and mood are great, but at the beginning it's quite hard to find enemies, and the enemy pathfinding could be greatly improved. The often landed right on top of me, or vice versa :(

The movement is really fun, especially the dash. I love the variety in enemies since they give you a reason to do the duck. The level might work with more room to the right and left instead of going vertical (Because of your dash).

I like the red but it may be a little too much, possible change the ui a little or increase the contrast a bit? Not sure.. But i love the detail in the pixel art! Great job.

Needs goals/level progression.
