Why I'm Not a Game Dev by mattr555

[raw]
made by mattr555 for LD30 (COMPO)
I submitted to LD28, but this is really my first Ludum Dare where I actually made an idea and a "conventional" game.

This is a platformer heavily based on the Phaser.js tutorial (http://www.photonstorm.com/phaser/tutorial-making-your-first-phaser-game), but adapted to the theme. You'll choose war or peace, but make sure you chose correctly!

Oh, the name? You'll see...

It's not the best but it's not that bad. The art is stunning :) and your "mouse writing" is pretty. You have to learn how to make a decent jump for the next LD and that's all.

Surreal. Clearly you are a game developer though as you developed a game.

Not as bad for a first game, actually i really like the choose for graphics, with a better (but still drawn) animation it could get like a childhood mood.

The idea of same object but twice effect (depend of the world) could done a real fun game. Your idea is good, just need more work.

I like it! It reminds me of the sort of thing I would make about a year ago. You should use what I used- Scratch! (scratch.mit.edu). It would be easier to learn how to make even more complex games!
