Sunstone by cicanci

===== ABOUT THE GAME
==================================================
The Sunstone is an ancient technology that helped Vikings to navigate in a cloudy day. You only need to know the time of the day (by the position of the Sun, sunrise or sunset) and the Sunstone will find the Sun in the cloud sky. With those two informations (the position of the Sun and if it is after sunrise or before sunset), you can determine the cardinal direction.
To make this things simple I assumed that the sunrise is always on EAST and sunset always on WEST.

===== HOW TO PLAY
==================================================
You have 5 minutes (300 seconds) to earn as much points as you can by finding the objective location and delivery goods in the island. You will be rewarded with an option to upgrade your ship speed or a bonus added to the score. Each good delivery gives you 10 points.
Controls:
- Tap or click on screen to move the ship
In the screen you have the following information:
- You distance from the center of the screen
- The Sun position (sunrise or sunset)
- Your objective, saying the cardinal direction you should go and how far it is
- The time count down
- Your current score
You also have two buttons:
- Reload, to load a new objective (bottom left button)
- Sunstone, to open the sunstone and find the Sun location (bottom right button)
Using the Sunstone:
- There are two black dots in the Sunstone, when both have the same intensity (see screenshot 2), there is the Sun
- Based on the Sun location (sunrise or sunset), you can determine if the Sun is pointing to EAST (sunrise) or WEST (sunset)
- That will be enough for you to find NORTH and SOUTH
Some observations:
- The Sun position and Sunstone are reset each time you reload or delivery the goods in an island
- If you get lost, got back to the center of the sea and try again
- After some time is possible to go to other locations without going back to the center

===== DEVELOPMENT
==================================================
This game was developed using cocos2d-x V3.12 and C/C++ in a Mac OS X environment (that's why the Windows build will come later, I'm sorry about that). I used Photoshop for the art, and unfortunately I had no time to create background music or sound effects.
==================================================
===== BUILDS
==================================================
- The Android version was tested on a Moto G (version 5.1)
- The Mac build was tested on a Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
- The Windows build will come later
==================================================
===== THANK YOU
==================================================
Thank you for playing my game (and read this description). Please, let me know if you found problems or if the instructions here are not clear about the gameplay. I didn't have time to work on music, sound effects, menu and few options like restart the game.
