Catastropult by BroCade

[raw]
made by BroCade for LD36 (JAM)
Playing off the theme of ancient technology we combined the 2 most popular ancient technologies we could think of... the Catapult and Tetris. The entire game is physics based, complete with functional(ish) catapult. This was an incredible lesson in Unity physics and what NOT to do.

Game play is simple, hurl your off brand Tetris like pieces at the designated build zone to help "construct" ancient monuments. Pieces cant be rotated mid-flight for the most "effective" constructions ;)

Hope you enjoy the disastrous result.

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

What a great game, the music is super relaxing and trying to toss the blocks just right can be addicting. As the levels progress the smaller construction zones make it even more difficult. I was impressed with this submission. Some sound effects for the catapult launching might have been nice, but besides that can't ask for much more, you did well on realizing the concept of this one.
