The visuals would be quite nice, yet you broke the pixel consistency with the bullet hulls -they are way smaller than an average pixel. And the explosions have a different resolution too, that breaks the whole visual concept. I like the speed but there was no real challenge. Overall, nice idea and congratulations on getting it presentable and it would be nice if you can bring some challenge to it post comp.
