Nice retro music and sound effects.  I think the game would be more fun if the ship were faster - it would feel more responsive.  Also if it didn't get hung up on walls (doesn't feel like a spaceship then).  You might look for places to guide the player more - hints about where the boxes are or having more enemies the closer to the box you are. Since my game loop time is in seconds, using a high value such as 200 for the speed made the movement a bit slow.
