I can't say this game is original, new or amazingly exciting. It's just another reimagining of the clicker genre, but with a story. For some reason everyone likes clickers. They're addicting, fun and make you play for days without end. I won't say anything against the genre, cause that's just a matter of taste, but a good clicker should be 2 things. Addicting and rewarding. While this game got a good start on the first, it didn't feel quite as rewarding. It would be even more addicting if it had a slower pace and therefore a slower story (which I liked btw) and it would feel more rewarding if the upgrades had more depth and were actually rewarding the player for the hard earned clicks. Nevertheless, for a clicker, this game has something. Maybe it's the story and a feel of progression?

Well made clicker! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/QlYKcvCr0YM
