Nidhogg on horseback but worse

THE FIRST SCREEN IS NOT THE GAME, Just an opening, press any key to continue

Made in game maker 8 and ported to game maker studio for web release
Credit to Dom Englebright and Russell Whiting for encouragement, feedback and testing

Web version is done now, there are a couple of discrepancies between the versions but shouldn't make much of a difference, I would recommend playing the web version though given the choice. However this version performs pretty badly on Safari (thanks joemid and Elliot Greenwood).

The Ai is unfortunately pretty terrible as I skipped developing it to make the character creation menu but overall I'm really happy with how the game turned out.

Thanks for all the feedback guys I just wanted to make something enjoyable to play and its great to see loads of people having fun with it!

Wow I really liked the concept and the music! The game play is fun too and I like how it explain the controls to you in a clear way. This is really well done, good job!

Very nice! I wasn't exactly sure where/how I was hitting people though. Nice Muybridge horse!

Very fun, a little difficult on a laptop but definitely a solid mechanic. Art and the time warping are great.

very fun! love how seamless it loops. The music mixed with the audio, visual, and time warp feedback make me feel like I'm a badass lol.

I did get confused at the beginning since the controls were given to me after ,y first joust so I spent like 3 minutes going around in circles blocking the AI jouster but I got the hang of it quick after.

I love the music and effects, but I take some time to get what I have to do

I really enjoyed the player choice between offensive or defensive moves as well as the importance of lance attack direction. Reminds me of something I tried to do with footman combat. Great work!

Awesome game! The music is awesome, the action is fun, the controls are little weird to work with sometimes. But, overall, the game is really fun!

Okay- so it ran pretty slow on Safari, worked well on Chrome. Looked great- simple, cool, couldn't really tell what was going on, but okay, mouse clicking and great, time for feedback. Stellar job! Then I hit a button and the real game began. Customized Count Coote for the win. This game is fast, responsive, and seems to require a bit of skill. Great audio, effective graphics, and one of the most complete games I've played on LD. Delta time?! Good show, mate!

Unfortunately the web version runs terribly slow for me.

The music is really cool, great job!

The visuals, the characters and animations are really good as well, for a 48 hour contest they are amazing!

I will give this game another try when I am on my Windows machine, I am currently on Linux and my Firefox is very slow with this game.
