I.M.M.U.N.E - Infection Minimizing Monocyte Under Natrual Edict by Rikkter Games

[raw]
made by Rikkter Games for LD29 (JAM)
Here is our second entry for Ludum Dare! And we actually had our artist this time huzzah!

Though this time it seems like we didn't get as much completed as we wanted too unlike last time. This is as much as we could crank out in the allotted time and we wouldn't be able to work on it further, school and such, so there isn't any animations for the enemies/white blood cells or any combat sound and only three levels, which another reason for there being only three levels is that the way we built them was really resource intensive and time consuming. But in our opinion it's a pretty decent prototype of what it would end up being.

We hope you all like this game and please tell us your opinions on it because we are actually planning on working on this game further.

Also not completely sure how well the linux/mac version is seeing as I have no way to test them. So if those seem to be messing up try the web browser version.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~About the Game~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In I.M.M.U.N.E you take control of a highly acclaimed team of four monocytes called Infection Minimizing Monocytes Under Natural Edict trying to eliminate all the viruses that are taking control of your hosts immune system. You must carefully plan out their attack and catch the viruses off guard in order to take back control.
Controls and how to play the game are in the How To Play section on the main menu.
Control was a little hard
The next button in how-to play mode, put in the right side,why we can't see the enemies in the planning phase? viewing them make more interesting, less random.
Another UI suggestion: put the WASD tip all the time in screen or a minimap.
Very neat idea. I found the control scheme for the monocytes a bit hard to learn. Even when I thought I had set them up correctly, sometimes they didn't do what I planned for them. Loved the music, and the concept.
Good turn base game.
It's simply too confusing! The "How to Play" lacks a good explanation, the main gameplay is not clear enough and the graphics/design part could be a lot better.
Looks more like a "conceptual engine" than a actual game.
Neat game. I liked the plan and then play aspect. It would have been nice if the viruses start location was randomized though as it always seemed to be in the same place.
The concept is nice but it lacks of some good previous explanation.
