Nice complete game. I feel a kinship with you because I came very close to calling my game DEEP BLUE SEA the game and packaging it like one of those NES movie licensed games. I also thought of using WATERWORLD. In the end I decided against it but that was probably a mistake. But our games are also similar in mechanic. Have to say I expected to see a lot more swimming based games.

Anyhow, back to your game. I beat the second level but got distracted and died anyways. My favourite thing about this game is probably the animation through perspective when the player changes directions. Little touches like that used to blow my mind back in the day when pixel art was a harsh reality and not a freely chosen aesthetic style.

In all seriousness this is a fun game and one of the best entries I've rated.

How do you swim up? I keep drowning before I figure it out.

Nice job. I liked the pixel art a lot. Played 3 levels or so. Wished I could press down to dive faster. Maybe a speargun? I'd keep working on it and add a few more things to it. It's a very solid base to build on.

The pitch makes the game more intense, you should have put a photo of the only family of the man and when the player die you have a message which says : "And now your only family won't be save, you failed this life". I just miss some blood when the shark eat me.
Nice Game!!

Nice pixel art! As other have pointed out, should be allowed to dive faster to speed up the pace of the game.

Really, really great! I loved the concept, music, and pixel art. If I could change one thing, I would maybe make you dive a little faster? Just to pick up the pace a bit.

Pretty enjoyable. The hitboxes on the sharks felt a little wonky; if you grazed them and they turned and ate you I would like it more. Also, it's sort of weird that getting eaten and asphyxiating have the same death animation.

Good simple game with nice graphics. You managed to create some tension trough the slow movement of the player, but some times it seems a bit too slow though.
