Hold On: Your Last Breath by epiplon

[raw]
made by epiplon for LD29 (JAM)
Take a deep breath...
Now play.
In this game you gotta survive beneath the surface of the cold ice. The big difference between this and the other games is that you (yes, the one sitting on the pc chair) gotta hold your breath untill you find little air bubbles. If you can't hold it anymore, you're just dead.
We hope you live some fun desperation.
We are not responsible for dismay, anger, sadness or death. We are responsible for bugs and crappy drawings.
Don't cheat. It's not fun.
Thanks for playing our game! :)
We'll look forward to play yours.

The "not breathing" mechanic adds an interesting layer to the gameplay. I couldn't play too long because I got a flu, so my bubbles didn't work very much in real life, lol.

Heh, I liked the music, sounds like you played it for real?

I liked the player interaction. The scroll wheel controls were a little hard to get the hang of.

Took a while to figure out that I had to move my scroll-wheel rapidly back and forth to keep the player afloat. Comical game :-)

I like the idea of a game you have to play along with in real life. But what are the blocks supposed to do? Should I have someone throw a pillow at me every time I hit a block? ;)
